remember the date of the last visit.
We do not use cookies intended to track behaviors for marketing purposes. 4.3. User account data
In the case of registering and using user accounts, data such as the following may be processed:
login or user identifier,
e-mail address (if required for account handling),
other data necessary to provide services related to the account.
4.4. Purchase history / micropayments
As part of the offered micropayments and purchases, information regarding transactions is stored, such as:
date and time of purchase,
selected service or product,
data necessary for billing and providing the service (e.g., account identifier).
Payment data (e.g., card number) are not stored directly by Mato Project, but are processed by external payment providers in accordance with their privacy policies.
5. Micropayments and purchases
5.1. Data processed during transactions
For the execution of micropayments and purchases, Mato Project processes the necessary transaction data, such as:
data identifying the user or account,
date and time of purchase,
selected service or product,
information required for billing and payment handling.
5.2. Payment providers
Transactions may be handled by external payment providers who process payment data in accordance with their own privacy policies and security standards.

The processing of personal data may be necessary to fulfill legal obligations resting on Mato Project resulting from legal provisions, such as regulations regarding security, accounting, or personal data protection. 6.2. Performance of a contract for the provision of digital services
Users' personal data are processed in order to perform the contract for the provision of digital services concluded between Mato Project and the user, which includes, among others, access to software, websites, and the execution of purchases and micropayments. 6.3. Legitimate interest of the controller
Data processing may also take place on the basis of Mato Project's legitimate interest, such as ensuring system security, preventing abuse, monitoring unauthorized activities, or maintaining the quality of provided services, while adhering to appropriate measures protecting users' rights and freedoms.
7. Data storage and protection
7.1. Storage period
Personal data is stored for the time necessary to achieve the purposes for which it was collected, as well as for the period required by law. After this time, data is deleted or anonymized in a way that prevents identification. 7.2. Security measures
Mato Project implements appropriate technical and organizational measures to secure personal data against unauthorized access, loss, alteration, or disclosure. This includes, among others, data encryption, network security, and access control procedures. 7.3. Blocking abuse

Exceptionally, data may be transferred to third parties in the following cases:

to entities providing technical, IT, or accounting services for Mato Project, which are obligated to maintain confidentiality and apply appropriate data protection measures,

10. Automated decision-making
10.1. No profiling or automation
Mato Project does not use automated decision-making, including profiling, that could affect users' rights or freedoms.
All decisions related to user support are made with the involvement of responsible individuals, ensuring the possibility of verification and explanation.
11. Target software
11.1. Mato Notepad

Version v2 – allows local storage of entered resources only when such an option is selected by the user.
Version v3 – processes data according to the following scope:
User data described in point 11.9, required for the operation of the service.
Basic server logs, stored in accordance with legal requirements, as indicated in point 4.1.
Cookies necessary for the application's operation, as described in point 4.2.
11.6. Mato Jason
For the "Mato Learns" service, the organization does not process users' personal data on its own. However, due to the use of external APIs (e.g., Google APIs) in order to ensure the functionality of the application, cookies originating from external partners may be used.

The "Mato Page" service, encompassing all standard websites of the organization, processes only technical data, as described in point 4.1 of this Privacy Policy.
Additionally, visit statistics are kept anonymously in order to improve the quality of provided services, using tools such as Microsoft Clarity, Google Analytics, and Matomo.
The Mato Support service, available as one of the subpages of our website, provides submitted data exclusively to authorized members of the organization. Information submitted through the contact form is stored solely on our servers and used only for the purpose of processing the submitted request.
